He was the professor's nephew and the narretor of the story

He was the Icelandioc scientist,he was the opwner of the book and the writer of the parchment

He arranged for a guide called Hans, and he give them some letter to introduction to the most important person in Iceland.
* Why couldn't professor understand the parchment?
Because it was written in a secret code and the letter were mixed up

When his parents died

I t's the huge mountain and the extinct volcano
* How did Axel and his uncle feel about making the journey?
Axel was worried but his uncle was very excited
* When was axel able to break the secret code?
When he saw some latin words which he know
* why was Axel want to burn the parchment?
To stop his uncle to make that journey.

Because he was sure that his uncle would make the journey.

Because he felt sorry for his uncle who didn't sleep or eat
